Secure use of Artificial Intelligence in a data-driven financial institution

The benefits of AI are also brought to financial processes in the interest of the European Union (EU), the Member States, the financial and capital markets, and customers. Artificial intelligence has been present in IT systems since the beginning. For a financial institution, information security, regulatory compliance, and stability of banking operations are of paramount importance. AI provides opportunities to increase operational efficiency, improve fraud prevention, and enhance the quality of risk management and customer relationships. As technology advances, more and more financial institutions are exploring the possibilities of integrating AI into their day-to-day operations. At the same time, paying increased attention to ethical, privacy, and information security issues is essential when implementing AI. Compliance with regulatory requirements is also key to using new technologies in financial institutions. In this paper, we briefly propose the conditions and information security aspects of implementing AI in a financial institution in Hungary.
