Assessment of Passenger Satisfaction Level in Cubao-San Fernando Provincial Sustainable Bus Route: Evaluation of Safety, Comfort, and Acceptance using Rapid Entire Body Assessment

The adoption of sustainable electric bus systems, such as the Cubao-San Fernando Provincial Sustainable Bus Route, has been in high demand. This study analyzes passenger satisfaction by evaluating safety, comfort, and customer acceptance. Using REBA and surveys of 35 frequent passengers, the study assessed ergonomic and perceptual passenger satisfaction factors. Results indicate that passenger satisfaction was influenced by smooth rides, noise reduction, and perceived travel security, while customer acceptance played a less direct role. Findings inform design enhancements and service quality improvements, supporting broader adoption of electric buses, benefiting transportation authorities, bus operators, bus drivers, and passengers.
