Cloud-Native AI: Challenges and Opportunities in Infrastructure Security

Most of the infrastructure security paradigms have been significantly reshaped by the increase in the adoption of cloud-native AI solutions. With these advances, efficiency and automation are improved; however, there are new security challenges that must be dealt with. In light of the above, this review paper analyses the problems and the potential of using AI as an approach to implement cloud-native infrastructure security as both a traditional security as well as an AI-based approach. Additionally, the paper also presents a comparison of different types of datasets used for security mechanism benchmarking and rates different performance metrics, such as detection accuracy, latency, and resource utilization.
