Experimental Studies on DC Bias Voltage Dependence of Nonlinear Products on TC-SAW Resonators

This paper reports the DC bias voltage (DCBV) dependence of second-order harmonics (H2) in temperature compensated (TC) SAW resonators on the SiO2/LiNbO3 structure. It is shown that H2 depends upon not only the input frequency but also the amplitude and polarity of DCBV. In contrast, linear and third-order harmonics (H3) are not dependent on DCBV. The DCBV dependence is also shown for another TC-SAW resonator with different design.
