High Q Multilayer SAW Resonators with Split-Electrode Dummy Fingers Topology

In this work we present a multilayer SAW resonator topology specifically designed for operation below 1GHz with spurious free, high Q and low TCF performance. This design allows for significant size reduction of the RF filters in this frequency range. With this topology, we designed a CRF test structures with minimum loss of 0.3dB at 900MHz and was able to design for miniaturized low frequency band duplexer.
