AGROSTACK: Smart Storage Food Grain System in Agriculture

In India, a significant gap still exists between farmers and accessible storage solutions, often leading to post-harvest losses, middlemen dependency, and reduced income. To address this, we propose AgroStack, a digital platform that directly connects farmers with warehouse owners using an intuitive, icon-based interface, aided by color cues and QR-code scanning for grain-specific storage discovery. Each scan provides farmers with warehouse profiles, capacity, rent options, and storage quality, simplifying the decision-making process. The platform includes inventory monitoring, rent bookings, contact access, and low-cost pest control solutions to ensure grain safety. Beyond storage, AgroStack empowers farmers to earn additional income by offering live interactive farming tutorials to urban users, promoting agricultural knowledge across demographics. Warehouse owners can monetize broken pallets for eco-reuse, while the platform notifies farmers of ongoing schemes and price forecasts. Features such as a seed/tool marketplace, a farmer-farmer chat forum, and urban gardening kits further enhance inclusivity. By combining traditional wisdom with digital support, this platform aims to build sustainable, farmer-centric agri ecosystems accessible to both rural producers and urban enthusiasts.
