Design of Wind Farm Power Quality Monitoring Device

A system design scheme for power quality monitoring of wind farms connected to the grid is proposed, which combines DSP28335, signal conditioning circuit, LCD display, serial communication, and CAN communication. Explained the working principle of the system, designed the hardware schematic and software flowchart of the system. The power quality was analyzed using the fast Fourier algorithm and experimentally verified. Laboratory simulation tests have shown that the system can monitor parameters such as voltage, current, active/reactive power, power factor, and harmonic distortion rate in real time, and achieve data visualization through LCD and upper computer (developed with VB6.0), providing effective support for wind farm operation and maintenance.
