End-to-End Security and Privacy Models for Healthcare Devices in Distributed Edge Networks

This study demonstrates a solid foundation for protecting medical devices on diverse edge networks. Blockchain makes identity transparent, secure, and fast. Keep essential healthcare data protected against unauthorized access and make true device identification easy. Cryptography methods like hashing, public-private key pairs, and approval procedures provide an independent, unchangeable device management system. Each gadget receives a secure code and unique identification. Consensus-based network validators record these on the blockchain and verify them. Automatic token renewal and device wiping make the system safer over time. Performance tests reveal that the system outperforms existing ones in data security, privacy, energy economy, issue tolerance, scalability, and secret keeping. Low latency (50 ms) and high throughput (1000 requests/sec) make the proposed system suitable for real-time healthcare applications. Healthcare businesses can easily grow and employ this system due to its affordable cost of $1500. This approach ensures secure, dependable, rapid edge network communication for healthcare devices.
