Research on Cloud Test System of Broadcasting Smart Terminal

Broadcasting terminals have entered the era of smart, and the hardware models and system software of the terminals are emerging one after another. In order to better realize the rapid on-line and unified deployment of services, it is necessary to test the functions, performance and industry requirements of various types of broadcasting smart terminals. However, the debugging of each software often requires specific environments, leading to poor generality and low efficiency in traditional testing workflows. This paper presents a cloud-based testing system leveraging Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and automated testing technologies. Unlike existing open-source frameworks, our system is custom-designed for broadcast TV terminals (embedded systems) and consists of three core components: an automated test factory, cloud infrastructure, and user interface. The system enables large-scale remote debugging and testing of smart TV software, significantly improving development efficiency and reducing labor and resource costs.
