Integrating Renewable Energy Sources for Sustainable Dispatch Solutions for Smart Multi-Load Systems

The increasing integration of renewable resources in power systems necessitates appropriate strategies for the sustainable management of economic load dispatch (ELD). In this work, a new approach to Sustainable Economic Load Dispatch (SELD) for systems with multiple loads is proposed, where multiple sources of renewable (solar and wind) are integrated. The suggested algorithm attempts to improve the power distribution with respect to operating costs and conservation by using the Botox Optimization Algorithm (BOA), a nature-inspired metaheuristic. BOA provides higher accuracy and dynamic load balancing solution for the intermittency and volatility problems of renewable energy. The model considers the fundamental system constraints of power balance, generation limits, and bounds to ensure consistent and optimized performance. Compared to other benchmarks, BOA produced better results in cost reduction and increase in renewable resource utilization. Results presented in this paper demonstrate that the proposed SELD methodology is adaptive and resilient optimizes energy management for smart girds and microgrid systems. This study facilitates the transition to economical, eco-friendly, and dependable energy infrastructure.
