3D Printer Smart Monitoring System with Python OpenCV

The study proposed the development of a real-time and reliable monitoring system for 3D printing process using the Python OpenCV and IoT Technology. It is aimed to mitigate potential risk associated with the process and enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the 3D Printing. The study critically examines the limitations of current IoT-based architectures and computer vision techniques employed in 3D printing. Through experimental evaluations conducted on a prototype 3D printer, the effectiveness, accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of the proposed system are compared to existing methods. The outcomes of this study are expected to contribute to the establishment of a trustworthy and efficient 3D printing process that improves overall quality and productivity, while prioritizing safety considerations.
