Research on the Index System and Profile Construction for College Teachers' Teaching Engagement: A Perspective of Multi-Source Data Integration

Teachers' teaching engagement has a significant impact on the quality of talent training, among which, the technology of teaching engagement portrait for university teachers has important application value throughout the entire process of teacher teaching. After analyzing the current concept and evaluation methods of teaching engagement, this study combines the information technology environment and teaching behaviors of university teachers to construct a multi-dimensional, cross-scene index system. Based on the perspective of multi-source data integration, using cross-time and space, full elements, and multi-modal multi-source data integration to design a teaching engagement portrait framework. This framework revolves closely around the five evaluation dimensions of university teachers' teaching engagement, supported by three modules: data collection, data cleaning, and profile construction, providing strong support for the improvement of teachers' abilities, teaching improvement, and educational management.
