Joint Beamforming Design for RHS Aided Covert ISAC Systems with Imperfect CSI

An integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) framework which enabled by reconfigurable holographic surface (RHS) is proposed with imperfect channel state information (CSI). Under the constraints of the sensing signal-to interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR), the covert communication and SINR constraints of covert user Bob, the transmission and reception power budgets and the radiated amplitudes constraints of RHS, we proposed to maximize the worst case AR of the overt user. Based on the alternating optimization and successive convex approximation algorithms, we decompose the original problem into three subproblems, and use Rayleigh theorem, semidefinite relaxation theorem (SDR), first-order Taylor expansion and a series of complex matrix transformations to solve each subproblem separately. The simulation results show that increasing either the transmit power or the number of RHS elements can effectively improve the system performance.
