A Virtual Drive Test Method for High Speed Train Based on MR

High-speed train network optimization requires a large amount of wireless communication data, but traditional drive test has shortcomings such as high cost and low efficiency. For this reason, this paper proposes a virtual drive test method for 5G networks in high-speed train. A high-speed train user identification method is designed to identify and locate users based on the wireless Measurement Report (MR) data reported by terminals. The effectiveness and accuracy of the method are verified through simulation tests, and achieved relatively accurate simulation results. The result show that the results of virtual drive testing are similar to those of drive testing and can be used to improve the efficiency of network optimization in high-speed train scenarios.
