Research on Autonomous On-Orbit Cooperative Control for Fengyun-Satellite

A distributed cooperative control strategy based on information consensus is proposed to autonomously achieve the formation establishment, maintenance, and overall maneuver of a Fengyun-satellite formation. In this strategy, each satellite in the formation adopts a localized hierarchical control structure. At the consensus reference estimation layer, the initial states of the satellites and the information topology within the formation are used to collaboratively estimate a reference point for the entire multi-satellite system. The cooperative guidance layer, utilizing the overall system model’s predictive control equations, employs parallel computation to plan desired reconfiguration trajectories for each satellite, transitioning them from their initial states to the target formation configuration. At the cooperative control layer, a second-order consensus-based cooperative feedback control law is employed, enabling each satellite to collaboratively track the desired trajectories and overall maneuver reference information. Simulation results demonstrate that, when a maximum spanning tree exists in the information topology, the proposed strategy can effectively achieve cooperative control for formation establishment, maintenance, and overall maneuvers, while also exhibiting good robustness.
