Application of Virtual Reality And Augmented Reality for Developing Educational Model

Virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) are the two important innovative technologies today in the world. The combination of AR and VR have immense potential to improve the quality and effectiveness of the education system. AR-VR technologies can bring revolution in education through interactive digital devices, immer-sive virtual experiences, entertaining engagement and 3D virtual simulation. However, to bring this revolution, vast customization and huge investment are required as these technologies are still in their premature stage. Review of literature reveals that there has been rapid growth in the use of AR-VR in literature development in the last few years, yet a long way to go in terms of customizing and implementing these technologies in educational systems. In this article, an augmented reality and virtual reality based mobile application model is described that can expose the way of addressing the gap in customizing and implementing AR & VR in education.
