Behavioral Modeling of EMI for Integrated System Under Multiple Operating Conditions

This paper investigates the modeling of electromagnetic interference (EMI) in an integrated inverter and motor system under various operating conditions. High-frequency voltage and current fluctuations generated by inverters are identified as major contributors to EMI, particularly in common-mode (CM) current loops. The integration of these components reduces equipment weight but introduces increased system complexity, leading to significant challenges in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) analysis. This study establishes an impedance equivalent circuit and an equivalent interference source to construct an EMC behavior model for the integrated system, aiming to analyze EM C issues under different operating conditions. The validity of the model is verified by comparing the simulation results with the measured data.
