High-Power and High-Efficiency Power Amplifier Design Based on Composite Load Matching

Aiming to address the issues of poor stability, large size, low efficiency, and harmonic interference in traditional high-power amplifiers operating in the HF band, this paper presents a dual power amplifier design based on composite load matching with the advantages of miniaturization, high power and high efficiency. Specifically, a dual power amplifier operating at 13.56 MHz is designed, incorporating these advantages. Negative feedback is employed to improve stability, while the power amplifier's output is optimized through composite load matching combined with a multistage LC resonant network. This approach suppresses high harmonics, enhances overall efficiency and system performance, and reduces electromagnetic interference. Simulation results indicate that the amplifier achieves a saturated output power of 56.8 dBm, a saturation gain of 27.5 dB, and a power-added efficiency of 72%, effectively suppressing harmonics. The amplifier shows practical application potential and can be widely used in RF power supplies, industrial heating, and other fields.
