Parameter Identification and Power-Efficiency Optimization Strategy for LCC-LCC/S WPT System Based on Controllable Switching Devices

In wireless power transfer (WPT) systems, variations in mutual inductance and load resistance under different operating conditions pose significant challenges to maintaining stable output performance. Due to frequent variations caused by coil misalignment and load changes, accurate parameter identification and power-efficiency optimization based on real-time system states remain key technical difficulties. This paper proposes a parameter identification method and an efficiency optimization strategy for the LCC-LCC/S WPT system based on controllable switching devices. By introducing controllable switches, the system can dynamically switch between LCC-LCC and LCC-S topologies, enabling joint identification of mutual inductance and load resistance. The proposed method eliminates the need for secondary-side measurement, frequency modulation, or complex communication protocols, thereby reducing system complexity. Based on the identified parameters, a dynamic topology switching strategy is designed to optimize either transmission efficiency or output power. Experimental results show that the proposed parameter identification method achieves an average accuracy of over 95%, and the power-efficiency optimization strategy significantly improves system performance under varying load and coil misalignment conditions. This study provides an effective solution for system design, adaptive control, and performance enhancement in WPT systems.
