FPGA-Based MSK Modulation Circuit Design

With the deployment of 5G and the emergence of 6G technologies, communication systems face increasingly stringent performance demands. As a critical component of communication systems, modulation techniques significantly impact signal robustness against interference and data transmission rates. Minimum-shift keying (MSK), a modulation scheme with high power efficiency and strong phase noise immunity, offers notable advantages. This study aims to design a MSK modulation circuit and implement its FPGA-based simulation. Leveraging a Xilinx ZedBoard development platform equipped with the XC7Z020CLG484-1 chip, the proposed design undergoes rigorous functional verification and comparative analysis against MATLAB simulations to validate its technical feasibility.
