A 500W 13.56 MHz Amplifier Realized by Two Combining Class-E Circuits

This paper presents a 500 W,13.56 MHz power amplifier, which uses a simple method to combine the output power from two Class-E circuits based on GaN HEMT devices. The output combining circuits are implemented by the resonated inductors and capacitors, the principle and design method of which are presented. The simulation verification for the 500 W, 13.56 MHz power amplifier is made based on Plecs software. Finally, an experimental prototype is built to verify the effectiveness of this power amplifier realized by two combining Class-E using direct power circuits.
