Robust Adaptive Beamforming Based on Physical Subspace Partitioning for Through-wall Radar Imaging

This paper proposes a robust adaptive beamforming algorithm based on physical subspace partitioning for through-wall target imaging. The method utilizes the sparsity characteristics of the target and first partitions the target presence region in the range domain. Then the partitioned subspace data is fed into the beamformer. Experimental results show that the proposed method can achieve better imaging resolution and side lobe suppression.
