Foot Track: Smart Solution for Plantar Pressure Analysis

Foot health is a critical aspect of human well-being, especially for individuals with conditions like diabetes obesity or foot deformities that can lead to abnormal plantar pressure distribution. The Foot Track system provides a smart and efficient solution for plantar pressure analysis enabling real-time monitoring and evaluation of foot pressure patterns. This project employs an ESP32 as the core processing unit interfacing with multiple piezoelectric sensors strategically placed under the foot to measure pressure data. A 16:1 analog multiplexer (MUX) is used to handle multiple sensor inputs efficiently allowing the collection of high-resolution data. A battery shield coupled with a lithium-ion battery powers the system ensuring portability and extended usage. A switch is incorporated for easy system control, enabling users to conveniently start or stop data acquisition. The collected data is processed and transmitted wirelessly to a connected device for analysis which is done using flutter flow providing valuable insights into plantar pressure distribution. This innovative solution is lightweight low-cost and portable making it ideal for applications in healthcare sports performance monitoring and rehabilitation. Foot Track demonstrates the potential to revolutionize foot health diagnostics by offering a compact reliable and real-time solution for plantar pressure analysis.
