Stability Analysis and Integral Output Bumpless Transfer Control for Switched Linear Systems

This paper investigates the output bumpless transfer control problem for a class of switched linear systems. Firstly, the definition of integral output bumpless transfer performance is proposed. Unlike existing definitions of output bumpless transfer performance, by introducing a reference output signal, not only bumps at the switching points can be limited, but also the accumulation of bumps over the entire time domain can be restricted. Secondly, using the multiple Lyapunov functions method, the controller and the state-dependent switching law is designed, and the sufficient condition for the solvability of the integral output bumpless transfer control problem for switched systems are given. Finally, the proposed control strategy is applied to a numerical example to verify the effectiveness of the obtained results.
