Fault-Tolerant Control for Polynomial Fault Systems with Actuator Saturation

This paper addresses the fault-tolerant control problem for polynomial fault systems in the presence of actuator saturation. The fault is modeled as a polynomial function, and the state and fault are observed simultaneously by an extended state observer. In addition, the existence of actuator saturation may lead to the failure of fault-tolerant control. To solve this problem, a convex combination method is applied to deal with saturation. The final controller can make the system still achieve fault-tolerant control under the influence of actuator saturation. Finally, a numerical example is provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
