Wideband Out-of-Phase Filtering Power Divider Using Slotlines

In this paper, a wideband out-of-phase filtering power divider is proposed. This design leverages a microstrip-to-slotline transition to achieve a broad filtering response and incorporates a slot T-junction to enable out-of-phase functionality. An isolation network, featuring a microstrip line T-junction and a grounded resistor, is also integrated. For the symmetrical structure of the proposed topology, the even- and odd-mode analysis method is carried out to obtain the characteristic impedances of transmission lines. Finally, A prototype centered at 2.45 GHz with a 77.6% bandwidth is developed to validate the design. Simulation results confirm that the proposed divider offers wide-band performance and precise out-of-phase characteristics, eliminating extra phase delay lines.
