A Wideband Magnetoelectric Dipole Array Based on Hybrid Integrated Suspended Line Technology

This paper presents a wideband magnetoelectric dipole (ME-dipole) antenna array based on hybrid integrated suspension line (HISL) technology. The ME-dipole is implemented using aperture coupling, achieving full Ka-band coverage with a relative bandwidth of 48.5% and a maximum gain of 7.8 dBi. The array feeding network employs double-side HISL technology, effectively reducing losses and enhancing radiation efficiency. The proposed 1×4 ME-dipole array demonstrates a maximum radiation efficiency exceeding 98% and a peak gain of 15.8 dBi, showcasing significant application potential in satellite communication and 5G millimeter-wave communication systems.
