Kinetic Human Torso Ray Tracing Model for Vital Signs Extraction

In this paper, we proposed a kinetic human torso ray tracing model which can extract vital signs completely online when the target is in the far field of the Doppler radar. The model includes the human profile’s motion pattern that is related with both respiration and heartbeat. In addition, the model also considers the distribution of electromagnetic wave energy and target material’s electronic parameter. It is also exhibited that the derivation procedure of how to calculate the received baseband signal in detail in this paper. At last, we contrast the results of simulation and experiment under the same circumstance. And it is concluded that they are matched well.
