A Novel RF Chaotic Secure Communication Method

This paper proposes a novel radio frequency (RF) chaotic secure communication method. In this method, the transmitter utilizes a tunable chaotic signal source to generate multiple modes of broadband power spectral density. The receiver’s RF front-end performs filtering, power integration, and binarization. Based on the power spectral density modes and the RF front-end power response, the transmitter encrypts the data into a chaotic mode sequence, which the receiver decrypts into binary data using predefined thresholds. Due to the unique association between the chaotic mode sequence and the receiver's RF front-end power response, this method achieves RF front-end encryption. Simulations validate the theoretical feasibility. Compared to traditional chaotic secure communication methods, the proposed method eliminates both carrier signals and chaotic synchronization. It exhibits low complexity and high security, demonstrating potential for secure wireless communication in complex electromagnetic environments.
