A Passive Intermodulation Amplitude-phase Synchronization Testing Method

The characteristics of passive intermodulation products in communication systems have been the focus of RF technology research. This paper simulates and verifies the effect of capacitance on passive intermodulation (PIM) generation mechanism. A method of amplitude-phase synchronous testing of PIM is proposed to analyze the mechanism of PIM generation from more perspectives, and it is expected to conduct real-time synchronous characterization of dynamic PIM products in the future. It is expected to become a commercial test module, which will help improve the stability of RF systems.
