Problem Statement and Algorithm for Modeling Technological Processes and Engineering Systems Based on the Morphological Approach

Morphological analysis and synthesis of technological processes and engineering solutions (ES) is an important method in engineering design aimed at systematic study and modeling of possible structures and configurations of objects under study. The approach makes it possible to identify rational vehicle options, taking into account many conditions of restrictions. The article is devoted to the formalization of the formulation of the problem of morphological analysis and synthesis of TS, the definition of key stages and methods for their solution. The algorithm of morphological analysis is considered, and the presentation of the problem is carried out on the basis of the formation of a morphological matrix. The quality of the morphological matrix being formed directly depends on the thoroughness of each stage of its creation, the depth of understanding of the analyzed system and the systematic nature of the approach. A properly formed matrix becomes a powerful tool not only for analyzing existing solutions, but also for generating innovative ones, allowing you to identify non-obvious, but promising combinations of ES characteristics.
