FPGA Based PWM Controlled Air Ventillation System Using PID,Fuzzy Control And Adaptive PID

Efficient air ventilation is critical for maintaining optimal environmental conditions in residential and industrial spaces. This paper aims to design and implement a hybrid control system for air ventilation, utilizing a fieldprogrammable gate array (FPGA). The proposed system integrates Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) control, fuzzy logic, and adaptive algorithms to achieve precise and dynamic regulation of airflow. By leveraging FPGA’s high-speed processing capabilities, the system ensures real-time responsiveness and adaptability to changing environmental conditions. The PID controller provides accurate baseline control, while fuzzy logic handles uncertainties, and the adaptive mechanism adjusts parameters dynamically for optimal performance. Experimental results shows significant improvements in energy efficiency, response time, and stability compared to conventional methods. The compact design and scalability of the FPGA-based system make it suitable for diverse applications, including Heating, Ventilation and Air conditioning(HVAC) systems and cleanroom environments.
