Enhanced RF spectrum monitoring with SDR-based frequency-sweep methods

This research focuses on developing an SDR-based monitoring system that integrates wideband scanning (Sweep mode) with detailed real-time analysis (Real-Time mode) to enable efficient detection and characterization of radio signals. The system leverages the flexibility of software-defined processing alongside the performance capabilities of SDR hardware. The proposed approach involves an initial wideband sweep over a 125 MHz range with a 25% overlap to identify regions of high electromagnetic activity, followed by a switch to a narrower 25 MHz bandwidth for precise, lossless signal analysis and characterization.
