Aviation Safety Simulation Study on the Impact of Turbulence on Unmanned Aircraft Systems Management

This paper aims to present a simulation-based study of external physical threats to drones that may cause deviations from their intended flight trajectory and fluctuations in the radio signal strength. The main concept of this research is to modify the program code of a reference simulation model of the Doppler effect in NetLogo to visualize changes in the height of an Unmanned Aircraft Vehicle (UAV) caused by management issues, such as turbulence resulting from wind impact. The adapted model supports assessing and analyzing the influence of external impacts on drone stability.
