A Simulation of Cross-Functional Domain Heterogeneous Vehicular Network Security Protection

In the context of rapid development of vehicular networks, the increasing complexity of vehicle functions and the ongoing evolution of network architecture present new challenges for vehicular network security. This article analyzes the current security threats to vehicular networks and simulates the implementation of a cross-functional domain heterogeneous vehicular network security protection method. By designing a multi-faceted security mechanism that includes key negotiation modules, data payload compression modules, and security protection field modules, this method effectively safeguards the confidentiality, integrity, and reliability of vehicle message data across various vehicular network environments. Additionally, the article provides a detailed evaluation of the time overhead, the proportion of security protection fields, and the additional messages required for key updates of the proposed method. Through analysis, the effectiveness of the security protection method is demonstrated.
