Design and Implementation of a Ka band Power Amplifier for Satellite Ground Station

Ka power amplifier is a core component in the field of satellite communication, applied to the final stage of the transmitter in T/R modules. It amplifies weak signals to meet the requirements of transmission power. This paper investigates the design and production of a Ka band high-power amplifier for use in satellite maneuvering stations. The designed power amplifier was processed and tested, and the results showed that it can operate in the frequency range of 29.2-30.2GHz. All indicators basically meet the design requirements and engineering application needs. The use of this circuit in the power amplifier module can reduce the number of power synthesis complexity and synthesis losses of the power amplifier module, which plays an important role in achieving high output power and gain.
