Analytics and Proposed Solution for Visually Impaired People in Sylhet

This paper explores how emerging technologies can improve the lives of visually impaired individuals, focusing on education and daily activities. Through surveys in schools and specialized institutes in Sylhet, we examine the current technological tools used by visually impaired students. Our study highlights the positive impact of these technologies on promoting independence and inclusivity while identifying existing limitations. To address these gaps, we propose an integrated solution that combines mapping technologies, optical character recognition (OCR), and machine learning to enhance autonomy. This paper contributes to the ongoing discussion on using technology to support marginalized communities and offers a pathway to a more inclusive future.
