Modeling and Analysis of the Impact of RF Receiver Front-End Linearity on Wideband Noncooperative Interference Cancellation Performance

In this paper, we study the impact of system linearity on interference cancellation performance in a broadband noncooperative scenario. A theoretical model is developed to analyze the broadband cancellation performance considering the nonlinearity of the receiving link. Based on the minimum mean square error (MMSE) criterion, we derive analytical expressions relating system linearity to the residual interference. Simulation results demonstrate that system nonlinearity significantly degrades cancellation performance, whereas improved linearity leads to enhanced interference suppression.
