Research on Stress Optimization of Dual-Active-Bridge DC-DC Converter Using Improved Phase-Shift Control

In order to optimize the current stress of dual active full-bridge (DAB) converter, this paper proposes an improved-double-phase-shift (IDPS) modulation based on the traditional double phase shift (DPS) modulation. Firstly, the principle is elaborated and the steady state characteristics are analyzed, secondly, the mathematical model of current stress is established, and then the Lagrange multiplier method is used to find the optimal phase-shift angle combination solution of the current stress, and compared with the traditional DPS control method. Finally, the optimization effect of the improved strategy on current stress is verified by building simulink simulation experiment platform.
