Noninvasive Estimation of Central Aortic Pressure Based on TCN-Attention Model

Arterial pulse waves contain rich physiological information. Central aortic pressure (CAP) as a key indicator of the after-load of cardiac ejection, directly reflects the functional status of the cardiovascular system. Currently, the gold standard for CAP measurement is invasive measurement, which carries certain risks and high detection costs. In practical applications, peripheral arterial pressure (PAP) is often used as a substitute for CAP, but significant differences exist between PAP and CAP. This study proposes a noninvasive estimation method for central arterial pressure based on the TCN-Attention model, which reconstructs central aortic pressure waveform from peripheral radial artery pressure waveform. Experimental results show that the root mean square error between the measured CAP and the estimated CAP is approximately $0.68 \pm 0.58 \mathrm{mmHg}$, verifying the effectiveness of the TCN-Attention model-based noninvasive estimation method for central arterial pressure.
