Smart Campus Placement System: AI-Powered Resume Generation and Efficient Candidate Filtering

A smart campus placement portal is presented as a full-stack web application designed to streamline the recruitment process. Developed using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js), the system facilitates candidate registration, profile creation, and AI-powered resume generation via GPT-3.5. A hybrid filtering mechanism matches candidate profiles against recruiter-defined eligibility criteria, such as CGPA, HSC percentage, and required skills. Eligible candidates are automatically shortlisted and exported in Excel (XLS) format for subsequent recruitment stages. By integrating AI-driven resume creation, keyword-based skill matching, and real-time filtering, the system enhances recruitment efficiency and reduces manual workload.
