Voice E-Mailer System with Face Recognition using Machine Learning Techniques

Managing emails securely and effortlessly is becoming more significant than ever before. The article proposes a user-friendly email system design which has a face recognition-based login system, which ensures only the registered user gets access to the system. Once the user is authenticated, users can handle emails (a) by speaking – including sending messages, (b) snoozing emails, and (c) setting reminders – all through voice commands. The novelty of our system lies in its multilingual support. Users can communicate to the system by choosing a preferred language, such as Kannada, Hindi, English, Tamil, Malayalam, and Marathi, and receive responses in the respective languages. The response is communicated to user in voice and text. The Multilingual support provides a platform which is inclusive and easy to use, especially for people who prefer to use voice over texting. The article adopts Machine Learning techniques for face recognition and Natural Language Processing to interpret the spoken commands. The system is built using Flask for backend services and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the frontend, thereby providing a smooth and interactive experience. Overarchingly, email system encompasses security and effortless usage makes it more accessible for larger population. Support for voice commands, support for multiple regional languages, and secure face-recognition based login system makes our work unique, novel and introduces a new paradigm for user interfaces with email system. The above-mentioned special provisions help in handling emails faster, and especially for users those who prefer voice over texting in regional languages. The accuracy of face recognition module peaks at 98.33% under well-lit conditions and front-facing conditions.
