IoT based Overflow Control and Power Monitoring System in Drip Irrigation Material Manufacturing Industry

The drip irrigation material manufacturing sector frequently encounters difficulties during the melting phase, including material spillage, excessive energy consumption, and a shortage of live monitoring, resulting in inefficiency, heightened expenses, and safety hazards. Outdated manual control techniques lack the necessary adaptability to shifting conditions within the melting tank, causing inefficiencies. A proposed automated solution using ultrasonic sensors, microcontrollers, and IoT technology aims to tackle these problems. The ultrasonic sensor keeps track of the tank's material levels and alerts the microcontroller when it is nearing capacity. Subsequently, the microcontroller turns on a motor-operated valve in order to regulate the flow of materials and avoid any potential overflow. Furthermore, the system tracks energy usage and transmits this information to an IoT platform for immediate monitoring and analysis. Automating the control process and providing data for decision-making reduces material waste, improves energy efficiency, and enhances overall safety in this scenario. It results in a melting process that is more effective, environmentally friendly, and regulated.
