Adaptive Power Optimization and Renewable Integration in EV Systems

The increasing use of electric vehicles (EV) has created the demand for reliable charging infrastructure, necessitating more efficient and sustainable solutions. This work presents an advanced hardware charging station prototype to integrate renewable energy and optimize power utilization. The proposed system employs a dual power supply mechanism to not only charge EVs but also to convert surplus energy into AC power for community applications. A microcontroller-based control and monitoring unit is used to ensure precise operation and enhance both energy efficiency and system reliability. Furthermore, the excess energy is then reinjected into the grid once EV batteries are fully charged, thereby supporting the grid stability and advancing energy sustainability. By integrating adaptive power optimization and renewable integration, thhe proposed model enhances the role of charging stations as multifunctional energy hubs, contributing to the development of eco-friendly transportation infrastructure.
