Smart QR-Based University Parking Management System with Enhanced Security and Real-Time Navigation

We’ve come up with a new way to park that solves one of the biggest problems at SRM Kattankulathur University: finding a parking spot. Most smart parking systems use expensive sensors, but ours uses simple QR codes that students and staff can scan with their phones to see if there are any open spots, reserve one, and get directions to it. Our system is unique because it has strong security. We’ve added 64-bit encrypted authentication and one-time password verification to stop people from cheating. It all works through web browsers, syncs in real time using APIs, and even tells users where to go using Google Maps. After testing it in five major parking lots on campus, we’ve seen big improvements in how quickly people can park, how happy they are with the experience, and how safe the whole process is compared to the old way of doing things by hand. The best part is that it costs a lot less than sensor-based systems but works just as well and is just as easy to use.
