Research on Switching Technology of Base Dual-Center Application

Aiming at the application disaster recovery requirements in the dual-center construction, this report analyzes in detail the key issues of application system-level handover and application component-level handover. Through verification tests of different handoff technologies and scheme designs, the report evaluates the effectiveness, advantages and disadvantages of application handoff schemes based on IP, DNS, software load balancing (Nginx and HAProxy) and high availability (Keepalived) technologies. The results show that the application handover technology based on software load balancing is more suitable for dual-center scenarios, especially HAProxy because of its professionalism, better performance and stability.
