Using artificial intelligence technologies to optimize the scientific activities of university teachers

The article presents the results of a study aimed at identifying artificial intelligence tools that can optimize both routine and non-routine tasks in the academic work of university lecturers. The research methodology involved submitting the same query regarding AI tools for optimizing academic work to various chatbots (DeepSeek, Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini). A comparative analysis of the chatbots’ responses was conducted based on selected criteria, both by the researcher and by other chatbots, including Grok, which was not part of the original testing. The main categories of academic tasks performed by university lecturers and the corresponding AI tools for carrying them out were identified. A critical analysis and evaluation of the proposed tools was also carried out.
