Research on the Application of Intelligent Operation and Maintenance of Telecommunication Based on Network Large Model

Network maintenance is an important work for telecom operators to ensure network robustness. On-site maintenance has the characteristics of wide coverage, large workload and strong immediacy. The emergence and development of generative AI large model technology brings new opportunities and challenges for network on-site maintenance work. Based on the powerful intention understanding and reasoning ability of the large model, the network large model trained with network expertise data combines RAG technology and related AI model and API capabilities. Aiming at the pain points and needs of network maintenance work, this paper proposes the application programs of operation and maintenance knowledge Q&A assistant, network fault monitoring assistant, and network troubleshooting agent, which assists the maintenance personnel in solving the practical problems in production, promotes the quality of network operation and maintenance work, reduces the cost and increases the efficiency, and also promotes the development of network operation and maintenance of telecommunication carriers to the higher-order intelligent development.
