Research on an Intelligent Conveyor System Based on Multi-Sensor Fusion

With the development of science and technology, conveyor systems have been increasingly applied in industrial production. However, most of the existing conveyor systems feature simple mechanical structures and have a low degree of automation. In response to this situation, this paper presents an intelligent conveyor system based on multi-sensor fusion. The system is composed of an intelligent conveyor system, a vision system, a control system, and an industrial robot. Through the experimental platform, it has been verified that the intelligent conveyor system can achieve rapid and accurate conveying, identification, and grasping of workpieces. Moreover, the conveyor system operates stably, providing a feasible solution for the intelligent upgrading of industrial production.
