Modular Input and Independent Output Series Distributed MPPT High Voltage DC Combined Power Supply Technology

The distributed MPPT(Maximum power point tracking) high-voltage power supply for solar unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is studied. A modular input and independent output series distributed MPPT high-voltage DC combined power supply architecture is proposed, which provides UAV with high-voltage buses that meet the requirements through the series output of standardized modules, and at the same time realizes the maximum power tracking of standardized components of solar array, thus maximizing energy utilization. Aiming at the series distributed MPPT high-voltage DC combined power supply architecture proposed in this paper, the autonomous control strategy is studied to realize the autonomous operation and power adjustment of multiple series modules. Experiments show that the prototype of series distributed MPPT high-voltage DC combined power supply developed in this paper has an input voltage of 30 V ~ 70 V and an output voltage of 90 V ~ 210 V, and the conversion efficiency reaches 98.2%, which meets the requirements of aircraft energy systems such as solar unmanned aerial vehicles for high-voltage power supply.
